Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
